I have been working on the landing gear mounts longer than I care to mention.  It all looks so simple in the drawings, but it gets dicey with the tight fit.  Alignment is important, so I have been taking my time.  When the gear support is in place against the spar, it takes a washer behind the first bolt for spacing.  Getting it in is a little tricky, but a little homeade toole (2 pieces of aluminum) makes it easier.

The washer holds the gear mount flange about 60 thousandths out from the spar and allows bolt to torque properly without warping the flange.
