Here, the canopy trim piece along the top center bow is being drill through canopy and into the bow.

 

 

The drilling is followed by blind rivets.  Now we are getting some permanent attachment.

 

The nylon blocks that act as canopy stops are side drilled through their brackets and locked in place with screws.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Next, the blocks are drilled at an angle to (hopefully) match the pins at the back of the canopy frame.  When the angle is right, closing the canopy drives the pins into the holes and pulls the rear of the canopy down and in to make a secure fit.

On to the front of the canopy.  It is drilled and riveted in place.

Oh yes, that piece of material covering the panel glare shield is glued in place and also will be held in place by the windscreen.
